{"id":200404,"hash":"YX4W95","organization_name":"Projects Team - SPM's","position_name":"ELV Technician - Abu Dhabi","description":"<p>JOB SUMMARY:<br>A typical qualifying background would include CCTV level experience and installation, repair, replacement, and maintenance of related security systems<br>Candidate will be under general supervision of Project Engineer in charge of the project.&nbsp;Will be required to perform skilled work, including minor carpentry, drilling works as and when necessary.</p>\n<p>KEY RESULTS AREAS (RESPONSIBILITIES):<br></p><ul><li>Installs security systems components, units and printed circuit boards following instructions from Project Engineer e.g. cameras, motion detectors, electronic locks etc.</li><li>Installs structured cabling for various systems .i.e. CCTV, Access control, Intrusion detection etc.</li><li>Install and service various Intrusion, CCTV, and Access Control Systems in both commercial and high end residential environments.</li><li>Travel to various customer sites performing installation and service work.</li><li>Be a highly motivated self-starter capable of working independently as well as in group settings</li><li>Be well organized and able to multi-task</li><li>Have good verbal and written communications skills</li><li>Have experience using test electronic equipment for reading voltage e.g. digital multimeter</li><li>Be experienced and able to use hand tools and small power tools e.g. drilling machines, screwdrivers &amp; cutters</li><li>Be able to read and understand technical drawings, datasheets, and written work instructions</li><li>Having prior education, training &amp; knowledge of basic electronics, security systems e.g. IP Surveillance, Intrusion detection, Access control and\\or electronic power supplies are all plusses</li><li>Should have initiative to fabricate parts, cables to ensure an installation will be successfully executed</li><li>Works closely with the Project Engineer</li><li>Should haven knowledge of common safety practices</li></ul><p>EDUCATION</p><ul><li>High School as minimum</li><li>IT Diploma certification will be an asset</li></ul>\n\n<p>WORK EXPERIENCE<br></p><ul><li>2+ years’ experience in security services companies</li><li>UAE Driving License is advantage</li></ul>\n<p><br></p>","country":"United Arab Emirates","state":"Abu Dhabi","city":"Abu Dhabi","address":"","zipcode":"","location_display":"Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates","is_salary_visible":false,"is_remote":null,"contract_details":"full_time","is_pinned_in_career_page":false}
